Receptionist/Patient Services Coordinator

DISC Surgery Center stands as the epitome of excellence in spine care, orthopedics, interventional pain management, and sports medicine. Our facilities are strategically located throughout Southern California and Florida.

DISC Surgery Center is currently seeking a full-time Receptionist/Patient Services Coordinator to join our West Palm Beach location.

The position will serve as the first point of contact for patients, families, physicians, and visitors while supporting front office operations at the ambulatory surgery center. This role ensures a welcoming patient experience while coordinating registration, medical records, scheduling support, and administrative functions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide professional and compassionate customer service to patients, families, physicians, visitors, and vendors.
• Manage front desk operations, including phone calls, patient check-in, scheduling support, and daily administrative tasks.
• Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and required documentation while ensuring accurate medical records.
• Prepare and maintain patient charts, surgical documentation, and records in compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards.
• Support communication between patients, physicians, and clinical teams to promote efficient patient flow.
• Assist with administrative duties including scanning, billing support, correspondence, and office organization.
• Maintain a professional, organized, and patient-centered environment while supporting quality improvement initiatives.

To ensure success in this role, you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Two years plus of receptionist experience in an acute care or surgery center
• Knowledge of medical terminology, EHR systems, HIPAA compliance, and insurance verification.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.

Compensation Range: $25.00 - $32.00/hour
