DISC Surgery Center is seeking a Full Time Medical Receptionist for our West Palm Beach, FL location.
In this position, you will:

Greet and register patients in a friendly and service-oriented manner.

Maintain appearance of the lobby

Answer/transfer incoming phone calls

Prepare charts for surgery patients and readies for nurse review

Obtain lab work and medical clearance for patients

Assist with credentialing, medical records, accounts payable, billing/collections, insurance verification, and clinical logs as needed

Perform other medical office functions, as needed
To ensure success in this role, you should have:

High school Diploma/GED

Two years’ experience in a medical office, hospital, outpatient surgery center, or related field

Experience with Excel, Word, medical billing software and applications

Working knowledge of Medical Terminology

The ability to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment with frequent interruptions

Be able to lift 30lbs and be able to walk, stand, bend and reach for prolonged periods.
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00/hour
