DISC Surgery Center is seeking a [classification] EVS Aide for our [location] location. This location specializes in Spine, Orthopedic, and Pain management procedures. The EVS aide plays a pivotal role in supporting Registered Nurses and Doctors in the Operating Room.
In this position, you will:

Perform general cleaning of the facility, patient care area and staff spaces

Equipment maintenance

Handle specimen transport

Assist with room turnover and case set up

Assist in patient transfers to/from the OR, including discharge

Load, unload and stock supplies

Provide pre-op support and aid the OR team in positioning of patients and preparation
To ensure success in this role, you should have:

Prior EVS background required, adhering to strict infection control guidelines and comprehensive understanding of OSHA guidelines

The ability to lift 25 lbs

Familiarity with medical terminology, equipment, and operating room protocols and preferred

Sterile processing expertise is a plus!
Pay Range: $18.00 - $25.00
