DISC Surgery Center is seeking a Full-Time EVS Aide for our Newport Beach location. This position hours will vary but will require availability to work Monday - Friday. The EVS aide plays a pivotal role in supporting Registered Nurses and Doctors across our two operating rooms.
In this position, you will:
- Perform general cleaning of the facility, patient care area and staff spaces
- Equipment maintenance
- Handle specimen transport
- Assist with room turnover and case set up
- Assist in patient transfers to/from the OR, including discharge
- Load, unload and stock supplies
- Provide pre-op support and aid the OR team in positioning of patients and preparation.
To ensure success in this role, you should have:
- Prior EVS background required, with experience in terming cleaning, adhering to strict infection control guidelines and comprehensive understanding of OSHA guidelines
- The ability to lift 25 lbs
- Familiarity with terminal cleaning, medical terminology, equipment, and operating room protocols are preferred
Pay Range: $21.00 - $25.00
