Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Project Architect role based in Tulsa, OK. The Project Architect will be responsible for leading architectural projects from initial concept through completion, managing project teams, and ensuring that deliverables meet client expectations and industry standards. Daily tasks include developing architectural designs, producing construction documents, coordinating with consultants, reviewing submittals, and overseeing project schedules and budgets. The role also involves ensuring compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainability standards, such as LEED, while collaborating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong background in Architecture, with experience translating design concepts into detailed project documents
- Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) software and drafting tools
- Experience in managing Submittals, construction documentation, and ensuring compliance with building codes
- Familiarity with sustainability and energy efficiency practices, such as Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)
- Project Management skills, including the ability to lead teams, manage schedules, and oversee budgets
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration abilities
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture with relevant professional licensing or equivalent qualifications
- Previous experience in designing and managing projects for schools, churches, or nonprofits is a plus
