Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Project Manager, based in SE Michigan. The Senior Project Manager will oversee all aspects of assigned construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution. Key responsibilities include managing project timelines, coordinating resources, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve project objectives. The role requires strong leadership and communication skills to lead cross-functional teams and foster strong relationships with clients and partners. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing large commercial/industrial projects specifically within the K-12 Education or Higher Education markets from start to finish.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Project Management, including planning, resource allocation, and overseeing project execution
- Direct and oversee completion of construction projects
- Develop plan of action including schedule, resources and work plan
- Assess risks and establish contingency plans
- Manage work and inputs from variety of stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience within K-12, Higher Education and/or Medical construction highly preferred
- 10 years of experience in construction project management or relevant fields
- Demonstrated ability to deliver a completed project
- Strong communication skills
- Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in project management software tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
