Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Patient Navigator. The Patient Navigator is responsible for the day-to-day management of patient accounts which includes scheduling, check-in & check-out, patient balances, phone calls, insurance verification, claims submission and follow-up, collecting co-payments, and addressing patient inquiries. The position also requires exceptional customer service skills.
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience with insurance
- Experience with medical billing software is a plus
- Associate's degree in healthcare related field preferred, but not required
- Understanding and commitment to the mission of Triangle Sinus Center
