What are the responsibilities and job description for the Swing Operator position at Triangle Rubber Co?
Qualifications
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and be able to push/pull up to 1000 lbs. on pallet jacks.
Must be able to use tools such as scissors, wire cutters, brushes, promoter, and tape.
Must be able to follow setup instructions (in English).
Must be able to climb ladders.
Must be able to communicate in English (Bilingual in Spanish would be helpful)
Must be flexible and willing to work in different areas based on current needs.
Must be able to sit/stand in one area for 8 hour shift.
Must be able to work overtime/weekends when needed.
Must be able to drive forklift.
Must be qualified as a “Mold Changer”
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Know and understand Triangle’s handbook, procedures, and work instructions.
2. Qualified and proficient on all essential production positions including Molding Machine Operator, Shipping, Secondary Operations, and Mold Changer.
3. Assist employees with Rockware calls and scrap entry as needed.
4. Work in various production departments based on current production needs.
5. Backs up Team Lead and assists with backing up Plant Supervisor.
6. Assist with basic level process troubleshooting (restart machines or similar tasks)
7. Other duties as assigned by Plant Manager or Plant Supervisor
Salary : $17 - $19
