Responsibilities
- Prepare endoscopic equipment, including endoscopes, for procedures by performing thorough reprocessing and sterilization in accordance with aseptic techniques.
- Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopies and gastroscopies by providing technical support and handling instruments.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety by monitoring vital signs, providing proper positioning, and supporting patient care before, during, and after procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, including procedural notes, and equipment logs.
- Support infection prevention protocols by adhering to strict sterilization standards and managing endoscope reprocessing workflows efficiently.
- Call patients the day after their procedure to see how they are doing.
Qualifications
- Proven experience or training in gastroenterology or endoscopy settings is highly preferred.
- Spanish speaking
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is a plus to ensure readiness for emergency situations. (Not required to get the job, we can provide the class after hiring).
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to patient-centered care.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
