Duties:
- Enforce laws and ordinances to maintain public safety and order
- Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect criminal activity
- Respond to emergency calls, accidents, and incidents
- Conduct investigations and gather evidence
- Arrest and detain individuals suspected of committing crimes
- Write detailed reports of incidents and investigations
- Testify in court as a witness
- Provide assistance and support to the community
Experience:
- Certificate from a certified police academy or law enforcement training program
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
- Experience in loss prevention or security is a plus
- Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Knowledge of surveillance techniques and equipment
- Excellent report writing skills for accurate documentation of incidents and investigations
