As a Production Quality Control (QC) Analyst, you will join our team on a journey to help eliminate barriers for patients, increase their access to medications, and help them receive lifesaving treatments while working in an environment that nurtures you.
The role of a Production QC Analyst includes the quality control and inspection of appropriate variably printed information for all matched component jobs, the inspection and verification of materials for all jobs printed and produced, the recording of the program, number completed, and the personnel that completed the work in a searchable database for quality reference as needed. These fulfillments are sent out to patients, physicians and pharmacies.
Responsibilities
· Maintain familiarity with all production items that are produced by the Production department and the level of QC necessary for each depending on their complexity.
· Accountable for ensuring all Production QC activities are performed in accordance with Production SOP 611.
· Follow documentation to verify that all parts and pieces of produced materials, as required by the documentation, are correct and accounted for, such as Prescribing inserts, Rebate forms, Brochures, Copay cards, Debit cards, Checks, and other produced material.
· Perform QC procedures in accordance with SOPs and guidance from the Print Supply Manager, Production Manager, and/or Materials Manager on items produced by the Production department to ensure their adherence to standards and requirements.
· Collaborate with the Print Supply Chain Manager and the Print Production Manager to ensure all necessary production pieces are QC’ed per the requirements and within established SLAs.
· Leverage understanding of personal health information and standard production processes to continually ensure personal health information is not compromised, disclosed, or mailed inappropriately.
· Display proficient ability in performing tasks for the operational area which is being monitored.
· Crosstrain to perform the roles and responsibilities of the Production Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst when necessary based on business needs.
· Collaborate with the Print Supply Chain Manager, Production Manager, and/or Materials Manager on special projects.
· Provide detailed account of all work completed for each program including variances and reports on each day’s activities in the QC Production Tracker
· Report work completed into weekly communication for the QA/QC Leadership team.
Conduct miscellaneous tasks or projects as assigned by immediate supervisor.
Qualifications
· Excellent attention to detail, planning, and time management skills
· General understanding of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act
· Ability to define and identify Patient Health Information.
· A High School degree or equivalent education required
· Excellent follow through and initiative
· Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical staff
· Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
