Position Overview
As a Coax Installation & Repair Technician, you will install, repair, and maintain coaxial cable systems for residential and commercial customers in the Columbus, OH area. This hands-on role is ideal for technicians who take pride in their workmanship, value safety and accuracy, and want to grow within the broadband and telecommunications industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform residential installations and repairs for video, internet, and phone services
- Troubleshoot and repair coax systems using appropriate signal meters and diagnostic tools
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure compliance and job site safety
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily service goals
- Represent Triage Partners professionally with customers, providing excellent service and communication
- Work in various weather conditions and at heights as required
- Use job management systems and mobile applications to document completed work accurately
What You’ll Need
- Your own Viavi 620 meter (or similar) – required
- Local to the Columbus, OH area – required
- Your own truck or van (required)
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and insurance
- Ability to work safely, efficiently, and to industry standards
- Flexible availability to meet changing project schedules
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working at heights and in indoor/outdoor environments
- Basic computer proficiency
