Triad Service Solutions is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Overnight Pressure Washer to help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of an outdoor outlet shopping center.
This is an overnight position working 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes pride in their work, manages time effectively, pays close attention to detail, and can safely work independently throughout the property.
Previous pressure washing, janitorial, or commercial cleaning experience is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided to the right candidate.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate pressure-washing equipment to clean sidewalks, walkways, entrances, common areas, and other assigned surfaces
- Remove dirt, stains, spills, gum, debris, and buildup from exterior surfaces
- Follow assigned routes, schedules, and cleaning priorities
- Inspect work areas and ensure surfaces are thoroughly cleaned
- Identify areas requiring additional attention and address them without constant direction
- Set up, operate, and properly store pressure-washing equipment, hoses, tools, and supplies
- Follow proper procedures for the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Maintain awareness of surroundings and safely manage hoses and equipment to reduce trip or other hazards
- Protect surrounding property, fixtures, landscaping, and surfaces while performing pressure washing
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Report equipment problems, property damage, safety hazards, or maintenance concerns to management
- Follow company and property safety and security procedures
- Complete assigned work within the scheduled shift
- Perform other cleaning or property-related duties as assigned
Physical Requirements
Employees may be required to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
- Frequently bend, stoop, squat, reach, and perform repetitive movements
- Push, pull, carry, and maneuver pressure-washing equipment and hoses
- Lift, carry, move, and position up to 40 pounds
- Navigate varying outdoor surfaces, curbs, and walkways
- Work around water and wet or slippery surfaces
- Perform physically demanding work throughout the shift
Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Qualifications
- Previous pressure washing, janitorial, or commercial cleaning experience preferred
- Dependable and punctual with consistent attendance
- Must be comfortable working an overnight schedule of 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Able to manage time and complete assigned work independently
- Able to follow instructions, cleaning procedures, and safety requirements
- Able to safely operate pressure-washing equipment or learn proper operation
- Comfortable working outdoors throughout the shift
- Bilingual skills are not required
Work Environment
This position is performed primarily outdoors during overnight hours at an outlet shopping center. Employees may work in heat, cold, rain, wind, and changing weather conditions.
The position involves frequent exposure to water, wet surfaces, cleaning chemicals, noise, pressure-washing equipment, and other conditions associated with exterior commercial cleaning.
