Primary Role:
The Facilities Coordinator ensures the safe, efficient, and effective operation of facilities across all TMSA Charter School campuses. This position will identify facility concerns, oversee maintenance and renovation projects, manage facility-related budgets, and coordinate with both internal staff and external contractors to provide safe, secure, and well-maintained learning environments.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Facilities Management, Construction, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
- Facilities Maintenance Certification or equivalent training (preferred)
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in facility operations, maintenance, or project management (preferred)
Skills, Duties and Responsibilities:
Advanced knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems
Strong organizational, multitasking, and project management skills
Ability to delegate tasks and monitor progress effectively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
Proficiency in using facility management software and work order systems
Duties & Responsibilities
Coordinate and oversee work orders across all campuses, ensuring timely completion
Supervise renovation and construction projects, including budget management and contractor oversight
Serve as primary liaison between school staff, vendors, and outside contractors regarding facility matters
Ensure compliance with state and federal safety, security, and environmental regulations
Maintain and coordinate repair of telecommunications, security, and safety systems (e.g., fire alarms, cameras, access systems)
Develop preventive maintenance schedules and ensure follow-through at all sites
Respond promptly to urgent facility needs and emergencies, providing solutions with short notice
Plan, organize, and recommend future building projects and upgrades based on campus needs and growth
Support sustainability initiatives and cost-saving practices in facility operations
Salary : $70,000 - $89,600
