What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Power Engineer position at TRIAD Engineering Corp?
Our very busy, growing client has an immediate need for an Electrical Engineer to join their employee-owned organization. The Electrical Engineer will provide best-in-class electrical design solutions by supporting power and lighting design in a highly collaborative environment. In this role, the Electrical Engineer will lead small projects as well as contribute to larger projects by utilizing their knowledge of NEC and other national standards and by also solving design challenges as they arise with minimal oversight. They will work in a collaborative environment with Architects and other engineers to develop construction documents based on a clients' requirements and perform the quality control of their projects and others, for final review by Engineer of Record.
The Electrical Engineer should be proficient with AutoCAD and/or REVIT and have the ability to train employees on company standards, drafting techniques, and technical questions about the electrical design, as well as have a basic understanding of photometric calculations, lighting design, fault current, and be able to independently select lighting systems and controls for simple projects. Salary : $125,000 - $145,000
