What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Engineer position at TRIAD Engineering Corp?
Our client, an early-stage defense technology company with products almost ready for manufacturing, is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their talented start-up team. If you are an electrical engineer with a knack for rapid prototyping, can stand up electronics, controls, instrumentation, and firmware quickly, and iterate toward hardware that works in the field, this may be a perfect role.
Responsibilities will include
- Design, breadboard, assemble, and rapidly iterate electronics that control chemical systems, power generation, and field hardware
- Integrate and build power, controls, instrumentation, harnesses, data acquisition, and test systems for benchtop and field use
- Write/troubleshoot embedded firmware to control, monitor, and log system behavior
- Debug prototypes across analog, digital, embedded, power, and sensor boundaries
- Bring prototypes from the lab bench, through MIL and UL certification, to the field, and troubleshoot quickly when the system behaves differently in real conditions
- Own active 50 W to 100 kW system development work
- Create practical documentation: wiring diagrams, firmware notes, test procedures, parts lists, and revision notes
.
