Job Description
TRIA is looking to hire a Surgery Coordinator to join our orthopedic team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.
Position Summary
Provides administrative support to surgeons by scheduling patient surgeries and performing other administrative tasks that support our patients. Returns calls in a timely manner and ensures that each encounter provides an over-the-top experience. Independently completes tasks, but also works closely with their care team in the clinic setting.
Secures necessary patient information relating to the scheduling and/or processing of surgical procedures. Schedules surgeries and performs required procedures including documentation. Complies with all applicable state and federal regulations. Coordinates information provided for business services functions including CPT-4 and ICD-9 coding.
Work Schedule
Full Time, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm

Minimum Qualifications
- Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
- 2 or more years related experience in a health care environment.
- Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
- NA
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Medical terminology and CPT-4 coding knowledge required.
- The incumbent must be able to proficiently operate the following: Typewriter or Word Processor, CRT, Printer, Telephone, Photocopier, Fax Machine, and 10-key Calculator.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Detail oriented individual with strong human relation and organizational skills.
