Job Description
TRIA is looking to hire a Business Operations Supervisor to join our orthopedic team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.
Position Summary
Provides supervision and direction to single site business operations such as medical reception, HIM, call centers or related business functions across multiple locations. Support staff will consist of 10-30 FTEs. Assures goals and objectives are attained through the planning, implementation, and directing of processes and support personnel. Directs the coordination and maintenance of the on-line care provider scheduling system and the development of scheduling templates to ensure accuracy of scheduling data. Promotes and maintains good patient relations and patient confidentiality. Considered an "expert" within a specialty area. Exercises imagination and creative abilities to respond to situations. Identifies unique or complex problem areas and develops recommendations. Contributes to the development of policies and procedures. Assists in the planning, development, and implementation of new or modified processes. Requires independent action and a high degree of initiative.
This position will initially be responsible for reviewing and streamlining the Orthotics and Prosthetics department (staff, work standards, prior authorization, etc). As TRIA grows, this position will include O&P but also frontline duties like check-in staff, kiosk rollout, AIC teams and new locations that open.
This is a M-F, onsite roll with some flexibility of working from home occasionally. Oversight of TRIA Bloomington, Maple Grove Saint Louis Park sites.
Work Schedule
Approx, M-F 8:00 - 4:30 but hours vary

Minimum Qualifications
- Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
- Associate of Arts or Science degree or equivalent experience/training.
- One year related supervisory experience, or three years related non-supervisory experience preferred, preferably in a healthcare environment.
- Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
- NA
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proven leadership skills in organizing, planning, and directing an operation and its staff.
- Proven proficiency in the operation of the following: Electronic health records, multi-line telephone, personal computer utilizing applicable software, photocopier, fax machine, and laser and dot matrix printer.

- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to effectively build relationships and communicate, both verbally and in writing, with patients and families, other leaders, hospital staff, and department staff.
- Outstanding judgment and analytical skills, and ability to make immediate decisions when necessary.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.
