What are the responsibilities and job description for the Motorcycle Technician position at Tri Valley Moto?
timely completion of assigned repair, warranty and preventive maintenance service on motorcycles by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Retrieves customer vehicles into service area for service preparation.
- Reviews service orders and inspects vehicles accordingly for additional repairs or malfunctions by test driving or troubleshooting vehicle operation.
- Applies technical knowledge to diagnose cause of vehicle malfunctions.
- Obtains final approval prior to performing additional repairs.
- Responds to repair inquiries in a prompt manner.
- Performs repairs and maintenance service work requested in accordance with approved quality and efficiency standards.
- Applies knowledge and ability to safely utilize all tools and equipment.
- Test-rides and assures proper operation of all vehicles in accordance with Manufacturer standards
- Maintains technical competence by attending all classes and shop meetings as requested, and reading all service bulletins to maintain needed skills.
