Position: CSI Support Specialist 3/2026
Reports To: Community Services and Information Supervisor
Basic Function: Provide Support to CSI Staff as assigned and prioritized by CSI Supervisor or CSI Director.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support in the I&R Department.
- Provide Support in the Supportive Housing Sites.
- Provide Support to Options Counselors.
- Assist CSI Supervisor with the Healthy Aging Programs
- Participate in training and orientation sessions as assigned.
- Participate in staff meetings.
- Meet with supervisor on regular basis.
- Maintain desk area in a neat and professional manner.
- Perform miscellaneous duties and assignments as directed by immediate supervisor
- Manage I&R email and voicemail including follow up to consumers/caregivers and providers with necessary documentation.
- Manage I&R calls for information and processing new referrals.
- Manage the daily meals log including follow up to consumers, caregivers and necessary documentation.
- Update resources Manage walk-ins as needed to provide information, assist with applications and process referrals.
- Coverage will include but not limited to, helping residents by sharing resource
information, public benefits, application assistance, liaison between residents and
housing staff, and support planned activities at the sites.
- Assist with follow-up calls and visits as needed including documentation.
- Assist with resource research to support the OCs.
- Provide coverage at outreach sites.
- Enter Quality Surveys into the Survey Portal that are mailed to Tri-Valley.
- Creating participant packages
- Manage registration over the phone with participants
- Manage paperwork for the classes
Essentials Functions/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human services, Community Health, Social Work or related field preferred.
2. Regular and reliable attendance.
3. Must be able to communicate effectively telephonically and face to face.
4.Requires excellent written and verbal skills.
5.Computer acuity.
6.Ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment.
7.Ability to work constructively as a team member.
8.Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, willingness to travel throughout Central Massachusetts, meet DVR and liability insurance requirements.
9.Ability to organize and plan work effectively.
10. Knowledge and experience with the long-term care and social service delivery systems, community resources and the local service systems for elders and people with disabilities.
Physical Demands:
1.Computer access.
2. Ability to traverse homes, yards and stairways.
3. Must be able to sit for periods of time at the computer or while driving.
4. Must be able to carry files of up to 5 pounds and laptop.
5. Occasional bending, reaching, twisting, standing and climbing.
6. Frequent Standing and walking.
Work Environment:
Traditional office environment along with flexibility according to coverage need of occasionally meeting consumers at their homes or in public places
