Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Sales Representative role based in Cincinnati, OH, with a mix of on-site and work-from-home responsibilities. The Sales Representative will build and maintain relationships with contractors, builders, remodelers, and property owners, serving as a trusted resource on exterior building products and solutions. Daily responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying new leads, conducting on-site and showroom product presentations, preparing quotes, and following up to close sales. The role involves managing a sales pipeline, entering and updating information in the CRM system, and coordinating with internal teams on orders, delivery schedules, and service issues. The Sales Representative will also stay current on product features, industry trends, and energy-efficient building solutions to provide accurate, value-added guidance to customers.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in outbound and inbound sales, including prospecting, lead qualification, and closing opportunities.
- Experience building long-term customer relationships, with strong interpersonal and client service skills.
- Ability to learn and explain technical product features, ideally in building materials, construction, or related industries.
- Solid organizational and time-management abilities, including managing a pipeline and meeting sales targets.
- Comfort using CRM systems, email, and basic office software to track activities and prepare quotes.
- Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills for customer interactions and internal collaboration.
- High level of initiative, integrity, and accountability, with the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.
- Prior experience in building supplies, wholesale distribution, or construction sales is preferred but not required.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to visit customer sites within the region as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or sales training is a plus.
