Tri-State Trailer Sales is a leading trailer sales, parts, and service company with four full-service dealerships in Cincinnati, OH; Hubbard, OH; Pittsburgh, PA; and Lancaster, PA.
We specialize in commercial trailers, including dry vans, flatbeds, petroleum tank trailers, liquid commodity tank trailers, and other specialty equipment. Our parts teams play an important role in keeping our customers' equipment operating safely and efficiently.
Parts Counter Associate Responsibilities
- Sell heavy-duty trailer parts to retail and wholesale customers
- Assist customers by phone, email, and in person
- Identify parts and provide accurate product information
- Take, place, receive, and fill customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Assist service technicians in identifying and obtaining parts needed for repairs
- Stock shelves and maintain an organized parts department
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels
- Operate a forklift to move and receive parts
- Deliver parts as needed
- Provide professional, friendly customer service
Qualifications
- Heavy-duty truck, trailer, automotive, or equipment parts experience preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and the ability to identify common truck and trailer components
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 105 lbs.
- Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to learn
- Valid driver's license
Computer Skills
Basic computer skills are required, including:
- Microsoft Outlook
- Microsoft Excel
- Internet browsing
- Inventory tracking software
Experience with heavy-duty parts or inventory management software is a plus.
