Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team. Ideally I'm seeking to hire 2 cleaners one for M-F and one for the weekends only. I pay every Monday and do not hold taxes. The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The location for this opening is the Hurricane Family Care medical facility. Average of 2 hrs a week for M-F Friday cleaner with the time frame that can only be cleaned between 8-9 pm during business hours. The weekend cleaner cleans between 5-6 on Saturdays and 4-5 on Sundays only during business hours and for average of 15 mins per cleaning. Must be punctual and dependable!
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Conduct industrial and commercial cleaning as required, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Handle custodial responsibilities including waste disposal.
- Support porter duties by managing supplies and equipment for cleaning operations.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
Skills
- Proficiency in facilities maintenance and custodial practices.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with industrial and commercial cleaning protocols is advantageous.
