Responsibilities
- Safely operate a volumetric cement truck, ensuring precise mixing and delivery of concrete tailored to project specifications
- Drive commercial vehicles responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations during transportation to construction sites
- Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to schedule deliveries and confirm concrete requirements
- Conduct routine inspections of the cement truck and associated equipment, including mixers, pumps, and mechanical components, to maintain optimal performance
- Assist with auxiliary tasks such as loader operation for material handling, rebar installation support, or excavation activities as needed on-site
- Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation, construction site procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, inspection records, and communication documentation for accountability and compliance
Experience
- Proven experience operating volumetric mixers
- Familiarity with concrete mixer operations, pumping systems, and finishing techniques on construction sites
- Knowledge of concrete forming processes, rebar installation, paving methods, and general construction site practices
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot minor issues with trucks or auxiliary equipment
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record for safe commercial vehicle operation
- Prior experience working on construction projects involving concrete pouring, finishing, or related tasks is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of safety standards related to heavy machinery operation and construction site protocols
