Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations, assess patient vital signs, and perform comprehensive patient assessments to determine healthcare needs.
- Prescribe medications, administer injections including botulinum toxin treatments, and manage medication plans in accordance with HIPAA and DEA regulations.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations, interpret laboratory tests, imaging results, and diagnostic tests such as ECGs and radiology reports to inform clinical decisions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals across specialties to develop and implement personalized treatment plans for diverse patient populations.
- Document all patient interactions accurately within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as ECW ensuring compliance with data management standards.
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with current licensure in the applicable state.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks; experience with telehealth platforms is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Ability to interpret ICD-9/10 coding and CPT coding for billing purposes; familiarity with medical coding standards is desirable.
- Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients on health coaching and treatment options effectively.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of patient information at all times.
- Prior experience working in hospital medicine, urgent care, outpatient clinics or post-acute care settings; experience in geriatrics is beneficial.
