What you'll do
- Perform thorough assessments of properties to determine the extent of fire or water damage.
- Execute effective fire restoration techniques to restore affected areas to their pre-loss condition.
- Implement water damage restoration processes, including extraction, drying, and dehumidification.
- Conduct mold remediation to ensure a safe environment for clients and their families.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during restoration projects.
- Carry out carpet cleaning and other cleaning tasks to enhance property appearance post-restoration.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and safety regulations related to asbestos abatement.
Basic qualifications
- Experience in the restoration industry with a focus on fire and water damage restoration.
- General construction experience
- IICRC Accreditation
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to construction and restoration tasks.
Preferred qualifications
- Previous experience in mold remediation or asbestos abatement is highly desirable.
- Strong cleaning skills with an eye for detail, ensuring thoroughness in every task performed.
