About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role is critical in ensuring excellent customer experiences, efficient order processing, and proactive sales outreach. Key Responsibilities
Customer Interaction & Support
- Answer and respond to incoming customer phone calls in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
- Provide knowledgeable assistance, address concerns, and deliver a positive customer experience with every interaction.
- Accurately process and place customer orders while ensuring all details are recorded in company systems.
- Handle miscellaneous customer requests and inquiries, providing clear communication and follow-up to ensure satisfaction.
Vendor Relations
- Serve as a point of contact for vendors, handling inquiries, coordinating order details, and resolving issues as they arise.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure reliable product availability and smooth fulfillment.
Sales & Lead Generation
- Proactively reach out to customers to generate leads, upsell products, and strengthen long-term client relationships.
- Follow up on past orders and identify opportunities for additional sales.
- Assist with outbound campaigns designed to expand our customer base and increase sales revenue.
Collaboration & Administration
- Work closely with internal teams—including operations, logistics, and management—to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of customer communications, transactions, and feedback within the company CRM or order management system.
- Assist with reporting on sales activity, pipeline progress, and customer trends.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute ideas that enhance efficiency and customer experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (required).
- 1–3 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or a related field preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently and professionally with customers and vendors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with CRM or order-entry systems.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving customer or vendor issues.
