Commercial Hvac Service Technician

The Service Technician diagnoses, repairs, and maintains commercial HVAC/R equipment for a variety of clients, delivering high-quality workmanship and strong customer service on every call.

Responsibilities

·         Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC systems: RTUs, split systems, chillers, VAV boxes, controls, etc.

·         Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on commercial accounts

·         Respond to service calls and troubleshoot system malfunctions efficiently

·         Explain findings and recommendations clearly to customers

·         Complete accurate service tickets, parts usage, and time records

·         Maintain a stocked and organized service vehicle

·         Follow all safety procedures and refrigerant handling regulations

·         Communicate with dispatch/office on job status and parts needs

·         Provide guidance and oversight to apprentices on joint calls when needed

Requirements

·         5–8 years of commercial HVAC service/repair experience

·         EPA Universal Certification required

·         Solid understanding of electrical, refrigeration, and controls troubleshooting

·         Valid driver's license with clean driving record

·         Strong customer service and communication skills

·         Ability to work independently and manage a daily route

·         Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
