Tri-State LED is a dynamic and growing LED solutions provider based in Greenwich, CT. We are expanding and seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our team. For over 15 years we have delivered high performance, high efficiency LED lighting, Controls and EV Charging solutions to organizations of all sizes throughout the United States. We bring together the best products in the market today from over 200 manufacturers to deliver high quality, thoughtful solutions to our diverse customer base.
This is an outstanding opportunity for someone with experience in the LED Lighting and energy efficiency industy. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in LED Lighting and contacts within commericial, industrial, municipal, or general contractor markets.
As a sales representative with Tri-State LED, you are not limited by territory, market or vertical industry.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Meet or exceed individual sales targets, including revenue and profit goals through the identification and development of new customers and the servicing of existing customers.
- Target and contact key decision makers and cultivate effective business relationships through communication of full scope of solutions and services to meet customer needs.
- Conduct site audits, analyze, and input audit information into our proprietary CRM system, determine the best solutions to meet customer needs, develop and deliver customer proposals, procure all available utility incentives for customer.
- Act as the project lead through project completion. Coordinate with internal Project Manager to ensure efficient project completion and act as the primary client contact.
- Be a subject matter expert on LED lighting, Controls and EV Charging solutions and remain up to date on industry news.
- Ensure that all activities, transactions, reports, and actions are conducted in compliance with internal policies, procedures and all applicable laws, regulations & standards.
- Ensure all activities and functions are performed in a professional and ethical manner in compliance with the Company’s operating principles.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Strong direct sales skills, preferably in a small, dynamic organization.
- 5 years progressive experience selling energy efficiency and renewable technology solutions preferably in the LED Lighting industry.
- Experience with Utility Company rebate and incentive programs.
- Proven and successful track record in securing the sale of complex offerings from top-level management.
- Demonstrated business sales development, cultivation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to identify customer needs, effectively communicate solutions offerings, and position the company as a top choice provider.
- Excellent verbal, written, computer, interpersonal, and technical communication and presentation skills.
- U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.
- Valid Driver’ License issued by state of residence and in good standing required.
