In this role, you will be challenged to improve customer relations, establish new relationships with qualified customers, implement and improve lease & rental procedures.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing new lease sales and marketing programs.
- Maintain policies and procedures for Rental Operations, to include check-in/ check-out of equipment, vehicle files, customer files and daily yard check;
- Develop and maintain relationships with large volume rental customers.
- Create target lists within assigned territories and recruit creditworthy prospects.
- Responsible for contacting new prospects via email, networking, cold calling, and participating in sales blitzes.
- Responsible for the growth of truck leasing operations in assigned territories.
- Develop and present sales proposals to new prospects for full-service lease, contract maintenance, etc.
- Maintain good business relations with existing contract customers, as well as develop new relationships.
- Provide monthly sales reports to management as required.
- Maintain a customer/prospect sales database.
- Other duties as assigned
- Local travel required.
- Participation in customer appreciation events required.
- 2-3 years related experience in sales, truck rental, or leasing sales preferred not required.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, effective time management, and strong analytical skills.
- Possess strong computer skills, including experience with CRM software, i.e. Salesforce
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
