Operations Manager
Primary Focus: Kitting & Value-Added Assembly
Tri-State Industrial Supply is looking for a hands-on, mechanically inclined Operations Manager to help build and lead our growing kitting and value-added assembly capabilities.
A primary responsibility of this role will be developing efficient, repeatable processes for customer kits that combine components from multiple suppliers into a complete, ready-to-use package. This includes determining how products should be organized, assembled, modified when necessary, packaged, quality-checked, and prepared for shipment.
The ideal candidate is a practical problem solver who is comfortable both managing operations and getting hands-on when needed. We are looking for someone who can take a new customer requirement, figure out the best way to execute it, build the initial process, troubleshoot issues, and then create a simple, repeatable system that the rest of the team can follow.
Beyond kitting and assembly, this person will help improve day-to-day operational processes, identify inefficiencies, develop better workflows, and support the continued growth of Tri-State's value-added services.
