Facilities Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, and in some cases completing, the work required for maintaining the safe and efficient operation of the field facilities and/or corporate facilities throughout the service territory. This may or may not include supervision of other facilities personnel.

Field Facilities Coordinator
Hiring Salary Range: $80,000-$99,000
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary outside of the posted hiring salary range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.

Tri-State is a wholesale power supply cooperative, operating on a not-for-profit basis, with electric distribution cooperatives and public power district members in four states: Colorado, Nebraska, New Mexico and Wyoming. Together with its members, Tri-State delivers reliable, affordable and responsible power and energy services to nearly a million electricity consumers across roughly 200,000 square miles of the West.
Founded in 1952 by its member systems to provide a reliable, cost-based supply of electricity, Tri-State is now headquartered in Westminster, Colo., employing approximately 1,000 people across five states.
Tri-State's electricity is generated from coal, natural gas, hydropower, wind, and solar. This power reaches members via a transmission system that includes substation facilities, telecommunications sites and almost 6,000 miles of high voltage transmission lines.

Field Facilities Coordinator

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee both internal and external personnel for maintenance and repair of field and corporate facilities including all associated equipment.
- Recommend effective utilization of facilities and implement approved short and long-range plans for cost effective operation.
- Operate and maintain facilities and grounds in a safe, efficient, environmentally sound manner.
- Monitor capital and O&M expenses which include assisting facilities supervisor with annual budget and quarterly budget variance reporting.
- Perform hands on work including, but not limited to HVAC/mechanical, construction, painting, electrical, plumbing, modular furniture installations, janitorial, grounds maintenance, snow removal, and meeting setups.
- Ensure adherence to facility/building fire, life safety, OSHA and electrical codes. Work closely with internal safety and security teams.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, programs, and procedures.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures and attain knowledge and remain knowledgeable of regulations, laws, standards, and best practices applicable to functional area.
- Because Tri-State has an obligation to provide continuous, reliable electric service to its customers, the ability to work overtime at any time of the day or week is considered an essential function of the job.
Education and Training:
- High school diploma or GED.General knowledge of all aspects of facilities maintenance and repair work.
- Five (5) years of related experience to include hands-on facilities maintenance and repair work with a strong emphasis on customer service.
- Knowledge of coordinating facilities work, electrical, commercial plumbing, building construction, grounds maintenance, modular furniture builds, HVAC/mechanical and ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to travel 70% of the time.
