What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fence Installer position at Tri-State Fence Company?
We are a well-established family-owned commercial fence company that has proudly served our community for over 40 years. Our business has continued to expand, and we are currently doing business in Southern Indiana, Southern Illinois, and Western Kentucky continuously increasing market presence. Due to continued growth and market share, we are seeking an experienced Fence Installer with a solid work ethic to join our team.
Our company is a member of the Local 561 Laborers Union, and this position will qualify for a membership and the benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Install various types of fencing, including chain link and security fences, aluminum and steel decorative fences, and wood/privacy fencing.
- Read and follow project plans and measurements accurately.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely.
- Ability to work as a team, lead, and motivate crew members on job sites.
- Ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and comply with company standards.
- Install, assemble, and clean-up at job site according to company standards.
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
Qualifications:
- Previous fence installation experience preferred.
- A team player with leadership skills and a positive attitude.
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required (CDL license a plus).
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors daily.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
