We're seeking a seasoned Inside Sales Professional to leverage their extensive experience and contribute significantly to our sales team. In this essential role, you'll utilize your proven track record to manage a variety of customer inquiries, build strong relationships, and drive revenue through effective quoting and order processing.
Our Inside Sales Reps work several different angles within the company. They handle answering incoming phone and email inquiries, researching products, quoting, and turning quotes into sales. They will assist outside sales reps with quoting and ordering parts, and they will make outbound calls to previous customers for potential follow-up parts business. They are also responsible for maintaining excellent working relationships with our vendor and partner network to meet company and customer needs.
Your Expertise Will Be Key In:
- Strategic Quoting & Pricing: Accurately research and apply pricing structures, including discounts and negotiated rates, to develop precise quotes for a diverse product range.
- Advanced Order Management: Efficiently process high-volume orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery, while coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
- Technical Product Application: Leverage your deep understanding of technical products to provide informed recommendations and address complex customer inquiries.
- Collaborative Sales Support: Partner with outside sales representatives to manage complex orders and provide expert insights on product applications and pricing.
- Relationship Building & Account Management: Nurture and expand relationships with key customers, providing expert guidance and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Proactive Sales Development: Utilize your experience to identify and pursue potential parts business through targeted outbound communication and follow-up.
We're Looking For a Candidate With:
- 7-10 years of proven inside sales experience, with a strong preference within the crane and material handling environment.
- Ability to quickly grasp technical product specifications and provide expert guidance.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and discuss complex pricing structures.
- Strong track record of excellent customer service and building long-term vendor relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in utilizing CRM and order management systems.
- A proactive, results-oriented approach with a strong attention to detail.
