Journeyman Electrician

Tri State Electrical and Lighting
New Haven, IN Full Time
POSTED ON 7/29/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 11/26/2026

Job Summary

We do a lot of LED retrofits and other small lighting/electrical projects and service calls. I am looking for a guy to lead a 2 man crew. I need someone who is dependable and willing to work hard to get jobs done on time and done right.

Most projects are about week long projects around Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan. We do not work weekends very often. (It's very rare and would be voluntary if you do). You would typically have a helper, and we provide you with the bucket truck and/or lift for the job, a fuel card, hotel room, and per diem.

Wage depends on experience and how well you fit the job. We are a small company so it's important to us to find someone that fits in and enjoys the work we do.

When not doing projects you would be doing service calls for commercial customers. This can include anything from changing a few lamps on the sales floor or the pole lights, replacing bad outlet, breakers, contactors, etc. Troubleshooting Energy Management Systems, even tracing underground shorts or broken conduit.

It's easiest for me to talk through text so, if you apply and appear like you could be a fit I will send my number to discuss the next steps.

Our projects started this week, so I am looking to hire as soon as possible!
