Tri-State Biomedical Inc, a dedicated service provider of industrial washing equipment with over 34 years of operation and over 90 facilities under contract, is currently hiring an experienced Mechanical Field Service Technician to provide service on-site and on-demand, as required by customers at their location.
Due to solid growth, we are currently seeking Field Service Technicians to provide repair and maintenance in Philadelphia and surrounding counties.

Responsibilities and duties:
- Service and Repair equipment on site at customer’s location
- Perform preventive maintenance, emergency service and installations on equipment
- Electrical & Mechanical troubleshooting skills necessary
- Ability to follow electrical schematic diagrams, blueprints and drawings
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with automation systems, electrical components, mechanical equipment and hydronic systems
- Install configure and calibrate automation systems including programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
- Servicing pumps and related equipment.
- Understand how to layout and fabricate piping systems, hydronics, pneumatics, etc.
- Complete forms to document the service provided to customer.
- Knowledge of basic AC/DC theory, electronic components, and electronic circuitry
- Strong Mechanical and Problem-Solving Skills
- Positive attitude and desire to grow professionally
- Able to maintain a company vehicle in a clean and operable condition.
- Comply with health and safety laws, regulations, rules, and best practices.
Requirements
- Clean criminal background check
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Client drug screening required
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift heavy weight materials (50 pounds on average)
- Ability to regularly bend, stoop, rotate arms and upper body; ability to frequently push, pull, sit, stand, and reach
- Must have experience with basic hand tools
- High school diploma or equivalent
- High integrity with advanced social skills
- Professional appearance
- Strong work ethic with ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
