Overview
We are seeking a dedicated individual to oversee and ensure compliance with environmental health standards and operations compliance within our organization. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining safe working conditions, implementing health and safety protocols, and ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential environmental hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards.
- Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies aligned with OSHA, Workers' Compensation Law, and EPA guidelines.
- Perform risk assessments, root cause analysis, and incident investigations related to occupational health issues.
- Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings, incident reports, and compliance status; maintain accurate documentation for regulatory audits.
- Provide training and development sessions on occupational health, safety procedures, PPE usage, and emergency response protocols such as CPR and First Aid.
- Collaborate with management to develop corrective action plans addressing identified hazards or violations.
- Stay current with updates in environmental laws, OSHA regulations, EPA standards, and best practices in EHS (Environmental Health & Safety).
- Assist in the development of programs related to workers' compensation law compliance and injury prevention strategies.
