We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor with a strong electrical background to lead and support our team of maintenance technicians. This role is responsible for overseeing repair activities, preventive maintenance, and plant projects, while also performing hands-on technical work. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and helps ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, direct, and support maintenance technicians across all shifts.
- Ensure compliance with all safety requirements; promote safe work practices, including lockout/tagout.
- Maintain clean and orderly work areas and participate in required training and team meetings.
- Evaluate workload and assign tasks effectively based on operational needs.
- Monitor technician performance, provide coaching, and take corrective actions when necessary.
- Assist the Maintenance Planner/Buyer in identifying parts needs and planning work orders.
- Develop and evaluate technicians’ skill sets to support continuous improvement.
- Perform emergency and scheduled repairs on production equipment.
- Apply mechanical skills including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, troubleshooting, and general machine repair.
- Apply strong electrical skills including troubleshooting and repair of plant equipment, drives, and wiring issues.
- Perform basic machinist duties as needed.
- Support annual employee evaluations with the Maintenance Manager.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to meet business needs.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in engineering or a business-related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical or maintenance field preferred.
- Strong electrical background required; apprenticeship or technical school training desirable.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and build strong relationships with team members.
- Demonstrated skills in problem-solving, planning, decision-making, and multitasking.
- Ability to work under deadlines and on a flexible schedule.
- Strong math and computer skills.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
