Tri Pointe Assurance, the title and escrow affiliate of Tri Pointe Homes, is looking for an experienced individual to join our talented group in Arizona as a Title & Escrow Business Analyst. This position will be located in Scottsdale, Arizona working a hybrid schedule (M-W in office/Th-Fri remote).

Position Summary: The Title & Escrow Business Analyst serves as a bridge between business operations, technology, compliance, and end users by analyzing processes, gathering business requirements, and developing clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation that supports title and escrow operations. This role partners with cross-functional teams to improve workflows, support operational efficiency, and ensure alignment between business objectives, regulatory requirements, and system functionality. The position combines business analysis, process improvement, and communication expertise to translate complex real estate settlement concepts, workflows, compliance standards, and technology platforms into easily understood materials for employees, business partners, and clients. Responsibilities include documenting operational processes, supporting system and workflow enhancements, developing training and onboarding resources, and creating customer-facing educational content that improves understanding of the title and escrow process.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver training and onboarding materials for new hires and ongoing employee education, including step by step guides, onboarding programs, reference resources, and training documentation.
• Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across title, escrow, underwriting, compliance, IT, and customer support to gather requirements, validate accuracy, and support the development of training and operational materials.
• Create and maintain documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), process maps, training guides, knowledge base articles, job aids, and operational documentation for title, escrow, and post-closing operations.
• Simplify complex industry concepts including title search, curative processes, escrow balancing, funding, recording, and compliance requirements into clearand user-friendly communications.
• Document and support workflows for internal systems and platforms, including title production systems, escrow platforms, e-recording tools, and underwriting portals.
• Ensure documentation and training materials aligne with state-specific regulations, ALTA best practices, and internal compliance standards.
• Maintain version control and update documentation and business practices as systems, regulations, or operating procedures change.
• Support business process improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps, recommending enhancements, and contributing to operational efficiency efforts.
• Develop customer-facing educational materials, FAQs, and process guides to help buyers, sellers, agents, and lenders better understand the closing process.
• Standardize terminology and formatting to ensure consistency across all operational documents.
• Collaborate with leadership on departmental training needs based on current trends in the market.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent, degree preferred.
• Proven title, escrow, mortgage, or real estate settlement life cycle and process experience.
Skills:
• Advanced MS Office product knowledge to include Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Expertise with title software, Qualia preferred.
• Experience documenting title production systems (e.g., SoftPro, ResWare, RamQuest, Qualia, FAST).
• Familiarity with ALTA Best Practices, state regulatory requirements, and underwriter guidelines.
• Working knowledge of title insurance, escrow procedures, and real estate closing workflows.
• Ability to quickly learn complex systems and translate them into clear documentation.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with all parties, ensuring everyone is aligned.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and information organization skills.
• Experience working with SMEs and cross functional teams.
• Proven relationship building skills.
• Ability to research, gather and communicate findings in a clear concise manner.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
• May be sedentary for extended periods, up to 4 hours
• Visual acuity for detailed computer work
• Using fine motor skills for tasks requiring precision such as typing
• After hours/weekend, as needed
