Position Summary:
The Data Entry Technician supports the cultivation team by accurately recording, maintaining, and organizing all crop-related data. This role ensures that all cultivation activities are documented in accordance with company standards, agricultural best practices, and Pennsylvania state regulatory requirements including seed-to-sale tracking system. The technician works closely with cultivation, compliance, and inventory personnel to maintain up-to-date records that support operational efficiency and full regulatory compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
40 hours weekly with flexible hours depending on operational needs. Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and hoidays. Schedule is Tuesday-Saturday from 7 am-3:30 pm.

Position Summary:
The Data Entry Technician supports the cultivation team by accurately recording, maintaining, and organizing all crop-related data. This role ensures that all cultivation activities are documented in accordance with company standards, agricultural best practices, and Pennsylvania state regulatory requirements including seed-to-sale tracking system. The technician works closely with cultivation, compliance, and inventory personnel to maintain up-to-date records that support operational efficiency and full regulatory compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Data Management and all Recordings
- Enter and maintain daily cultivation data including planting, propagation, watering, nutrient schedules, pesticide applications, environmental readings, and harvest activities.
- Update digital and/or paper-based logs, spreadsheets, and databases with a high degree of accuracy.
- Support seed-to-sale or crop tracking software operations (MJ Freeway or other agriculture tracking systems), ensuring all entries are timely and compliant with Pennsylvania regulations.
- Organize, file, and archive documentation for audits and internal reviews.
- Assist cultivation team in all cultivation tasks such as, but not limited to, cloning, trimming, transplanting, cleaning, harvesting, etc.
- All other duties assigned.
- Communicating discrepancies or missing data to cultivation leads promptly.
- Coordinate with cultivation staff to verify accuracy of measurements, counts, and timelines.
- Monitor data for trends, anomalies, or process issues and alert supervisors when identified.
- Maintain records required for state agricultural compliance, including batch tracking, pesticide application logs, and sanitation procedures.
- Assist in preparing reports for internal audits, state inspections, and compliance reviews.
- Ensure adherence to all Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture and/or Department of Health protocols relevant to crop production.

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Must successfully pass a comprehensive background screening
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs. to a minimum height of five feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of fifty feet, with or without mechanical assistance.
- Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks.
- Must be able to handle organic matter daily, able to wear PPE as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection), and able to be exposed to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE (95 degrees or greater)
- Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions
- Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (Moderate noise)
