What are the responsibilities and job description for the Land Survey/Geomatics Technician position at TRI-MONT Engineering, Co.?
Candidates should have 2 years of experience in the following:
- Sub-Surface Utility Engineering (SUE),
- Topographic survey,
- Construction staking,
- Roadway & utility existing conditions,
- Asbuilt surveys,
- Industrial site surveys and
- Boundary surveys
Experience operating surveying equipment including total stations, data collectors, Trimble GPS, and land survey equipment. Candidate must be computer literate and have a working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and analytical software and ArcGIS experience a plus.
Experience with Vacuum Excavation, General knowledge of utility infrastructures a plus.

Applicants must have a reliable vehicle, impeccable driving record and willing to travel. Overnight travel expected to be approximately 20% of the time.
