What are the responsibilities and job description for the ETL Developer/Data Warehouse Architect position at Tri-Force Consulting Services, Inc.?
Work a 40-hour workweek during regular OSC business hours, between 8:00 a.m.and 5:00 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, excluding State holidays.
The Consultant will collaborate with the Data Analytics & First New York units within the Office of the State Comptroller (OSC) to enhance the current data infrastructure and analytics environment. Key responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing existing ETL processes, designing data systems for both structured and unstructured data, and assisting in the implementation of data analytics architecture. The Consultant will be involved in migrating ETL environments, developing fact and dimensional models, and implementing data processes for newly acquired datasets. Additionally, the Consultant will assist in the design of Tableau/OBIEE dashboards and support data exchanges with external entities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related field.
4 years of experience in ETL development, data modeling, and SQL.
Proficiency with ETL tools (e.g., Qlik, Informatica) and data analytics systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Python, Tableau Server, and government data analytics.
Background in data validation, troubleshooting, and business requirements gathering.
Language/Structured Query Language (“PL/SQL”);
Experience developing a data analytics ETL environment to support Tableauvisualizations; and
Experience using ETL techniques to support a data analytics program for a government entity.
