The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and sending patient-related correspondence—including care plans, physician orders, and clinical updates—to physician offices. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and send care plans and other clinical documents to physician offices
- Track and follow up on unsigned orders and outstanding documentation
- Ensure all correspondence is accurate, complete, and compliant with agency and state regulations
- Maintain organized records of all communications and documents sent/received
- Communicate professionally with physician offices, clinicians, and internal staff
- Assist with coordination of care to ensure timely approvals and continuity of services
- Monitor deadlines and prioritize tasks to prevent delays in patient care and billing
- High school diploma or equivalent (Healthcare administration experience preferred)
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in home health or medical office setting
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Kinnser
- Experience with EVV or HHAeXchange is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
