What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP or SLP-CF) position at Tri-County Therapy?
Tri-County Therapy (TCT) is a pediatric therapy practice serving children from birth through age 18 across South Carolina. Our team provides speech, occupational, and physical therapy services in clinic, school, home, preschool, and community settings.
We are currently hiring full-time Speech-Language Pathologists for several locations throughout the Charleston area.
Current Openings
- Mount Pleasant: Combination role with community visits (Daniel Island & Clements Ferry Rd.) in the mornings and clinic-based treatment in the afternoons in the Mount Pleasant office.
- West Ashley/Charleston: Combination role with community visits (Johns Island/West Ashley) in the mornings and clinic-based treatment in the afternoons in the Charleston/West Ashley office.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with speech, language, fluency, voice, feeding, and communication disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans and home programs based on patient needs
- Complete evaluations, daily documentation, progress reports, and care plans in a timely manner
- Provide caregiver education and collaborate with families regarding treatment goals and progress
- Assess patients for AAC needs and support families during implementation when appropriate
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, educators, and medical providers
- Maintain professional and ethical standards of practice
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program
- South Carolina SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply
- Pediatric experience through employment, internship, or clinical rotation preferred
- Experience with AAC or feeding therapy is helpful but not required
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Compensation
- Full-time W2 positions include compensation for direct therapy and administrative responsibilities
