The Tri-County Technical College Health Sciences Division is seeking collaborative, energetic, and innovative Surgical Technology Adjunct Instructors. Reporting to Department Head of Health Professions, the successful candidates will teach using systematically planned and delivered instruction for the program; maintain records of student academic progress and attendance, evaluate level of achievement, and assign grades for the program. Teaching Assignments may include both on-campus and//or at various clinical sites in the greater tri-county area. The Fall 2026 Semester begins August 10th and ends December 2026. This role is a part-time, non-benefited role.Minimum and Additional Requirements
Adjunct Faculty must be qualified by education and experience, and must be effective in teaching the subjects assigned. Adjunct Faculty must possess a credential in the field of surgical technology through a national certification program that is accredited by the National Commission on Certifying Agencies and have a minimum total of two years experience, either in the operating room scrub role or as an instructor in surgical technology, or a combination of both, within the last five years.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with experience as an instructor in surgical technology.
