The Tri-County Technical College Arts and Sciences Division is seeking collaborative, energetic, and innovative adjunct faculty. The successful candidate will teach assigned courses using systematically planned and delivered instruction for the program; maintain records of student academic progress and attendance, evaluate level of achievement, and assign grades for the assigned class participants. Adjunct faculty can teach up to 12 credit hours or 21 contact hours each academic term (fall and spring term). Teaching assignments may include both day and evening classes, online or hybrid classes, classes on multiple campuses, or high school and career center campuses. Depending on summer enrollment, adjunct faculty may teach assigned courses. The successful candidate will be required to start at the beginning of the Fall 2026 semester (August 2026). Finalists are subject to a criminal background screening and reference check process. Minimum and Additional Requirements

Master's degree in Anthropology or a related field with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in discipline specific courses. This is an on campus position.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to applicants with teaching experience in a community college; successful experience using a variety of active and collaborative learning strategies; experience implementing innovative assessments to measure student learning; and a demonstrated track record showing regular professional development around their teaching and the discipline.
