What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radio & Digital Account Executive position at Tri-County Radio Broadcasting?
Position Highlights
- Develop and manage strategic business plans in collaboration with the General Manager to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new and existing clients; consistently prospect and replenish accounts.
- Design and present custom multimedia marketing campaigns using Radio, SEM, SEO, Display, and Social Media solutions.
- Conduct client needs assessments and account reviews to uncover key objectives and provide tailored solutions.
- Present compelling proposals, proof of performance, and ROI to drive client satisfaction and renewals.
- Coordinate with traffic and production teams to ensure seamless execution of client campaigns.
- Participate in community events and represent Forcht Broadcasting at local networking functions.
- Engage in ongoing professional development, including digital certification programs provided by the Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB).
What We’re Looking For
- 2 years of direct B2B sales experience, preferably in media, advertising, or digital marketing.
- Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts independently.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
- Knowledge of radio and digital marketing best practices preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, broadcasting, or a related field is a plus—but not required.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the Central Kentucky region.
