What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapy Assistant position at Tri-County Physical Therapy Institute?
Tri-County Physical Therapy is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient clinic. We provide one-on-one care, so you can focus on the individual patient you are treating. You’ll work with the supervising Physical Therapist to carry out established plans of care and help patients improve strength, mobility, balance, and function.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist.
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercise, functional activities, balance training, mobility work, and home exercise programs.
- Monitor patient response and communicate progress or concerns to the supervising PT.
- Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic.
Qualifications
- Current Ohio Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing.
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Strong communication and patient-care skills.
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred; new graduates with an active Ohio license are welcome to apply.
- Experience with WebPT is a plus.
Position details

- Pay: $24–$27 per hour, based on experience.
- Vacation: Available after 6 months.
