Key Responsibilities:
- Operate X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients' bones, tissues, and organs
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety
- Position patients accurately to obtain optimal images for diagnosis
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure safety and quality standards
- Review images for clarity and proper positioning, and make adjustments as necessary
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Adhere to all safety protocols and radiation protection guidelines
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
Skills and Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
- Proven experience operating X-ray and imaging equipment
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and radiologic procedures
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of safety standards and radiation protection practices
