Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position in Ottawa, IL, for a Lead Preschool Teacher. The Lead Preschool Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing daily lesson plans and developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to the needs of the children. The individual will support and guide students in early childhood education, foster positive learning experiences, and maintain a safe and engaging classroom environment. Additionally, the role involves collaboration with parents and team members to ensure progress in children's overall development.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development to deliver well-structured and engaging learning experiences
- Strong foundation in Early Childhood Education and developmentally appropriate practices
- Excellent Communication skills for collaborating with parents, team members, and young learners
- Experience or knowledge related to Kindergarten learning and instruction is highly desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Certification or licensure in Early Childhood Education is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
